Exchange & Returns

The more you order, the happier we are! However, we strongly discourage our customers from buying any item where there is doubt. Please double check all product details and triple check sizing details. We would be happy to help you out with any queries regarding making your purchase.

 

While we have strict quality checks in place, colour and print placements vary from piece to piece. This is often due to the nature of the fabric, the settings of the screen you are viewing the product on, our resistance to over-treating our pieces with chemicals, as well as utilising all fabrics dyed or printed to reduce wastage.

Returns

You can register a return or exchange at info@shopateliersoares.com or DM on instagram with order ID.

Please note returns are not applicable to products purchased on sale or discounts.

From time to time we may make mistakes, we apologise in advance for that and hope that you will give us a second chance.If you have received an incorrect or damaged item, please contact us with your order number and an image and description of the issue within  48  hours of delivery of package. We will replace your order, subject to examination of damages. 

Any issues reported after 48 hours will not be considered for replacement as the package has been out of our warehouse for a considerable amount of time and in conditions beyond our control.

  • Once your return request is accepted, you can either ship the product back to our warehouse or we can have the product picked up from your delivery address at a nominal charge of INR 100/-
    (Shipping details will be shared once return request is initiated)
  • We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If your item(s) has all tags and labels attached, remains unworn, unwashed, unsoiled and our backend team has inspected it for damages with no anomalies, our CRM team will automatically process the amount as Store Credit and email/whatsapp with you a Coupon Code for the amount you spent (INR 100 will be adjusted when reverse pick up is arranged by us)

Exchanges

We do accept one exchange per product purchased for a different size/ style exchange or are happy to provide you a coupon code valid for 6 months to use at your convenience.  However, this is not applicable for products which are customised or bought using coupon codes or during sale.

Please note that sale products will only be considered for size exchanges/ alterations.

Any piece made with customised measurements or special requests are not be eligible for exchange. They will only be considered for alterations in case of sizing issues. Clothing purchased on sale / using discount coupons will only be exchanged for a different size or alteration.

While we try our best to make sure the garment looks exactly the same as shown on our website, 10-15% colour difference may occur, this will not be considered as a valid reason for exchange. Fabric for each dress is mentioned clearly on the website, please consult before buying to avoid any confusion post purchase.

 

Please note for exchanges or returns you will receive a credit note in form of a coupon code which is valid for 6 months.

We do not offer refunds! 

 

How to process your exchange

As we have limited quantities, you must reach out to us within 48 hours of receiving your order for us to process an exchange. 

The piece must be returned to our Workshop in Mumbai within 7 working days of submitting your exchange request. Any items received beyond 7 days of registering your exchange request will not be accepted.

 

We do not offer exchange or return on international orders.

If you simply change your mind, we are terribly sorry, but we will not be able to accept the return or provide a refund. We will however encourage you to check with your friends and family for they might like to take that piece off your hands.We hold the right to not accept a return in case the product is used, altered or damaged by the customer.
